BOOK DISCUSSIONThe Book Discussion Group meets on the 3rd Monday of each month, 9:30-11:30am October through April, using Zoom. The book selections, which the group members recommend, are determined by a group vote. Once a year we select an author and study her/his life and published works. Each member reads a book of her choice by the selected author. We arrive at the meeting prepared for discussion. Leader: Linda Koral |
FOREIGN SCREEN AND CUISINE – Postponed due to COVID-19The Foreign Screen and Cuisine meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month beginning in November and ending in April. Open to branch members, as well as couples, the group views international cinema productions in local theaters. Afterwards, members have dinner and a film discussion at an ethnic restaurant which features dishes representative of the setting of the film the group has seen. Leader: Sue Cremin |
